I’ve been thinking about this for quite some time now. I love almost all types of music, and appreciate it on a very deep level. A few years ago, it cam to my attention that there was a style/genre of hip-hop entitled Nerdcore (a few emcees include: mc chris, MC Frontalot, and MC Paul Barman). I don’t think I really need to go incredibly deep into explaining what this style/genre comprises as far as lyrics go (the lyrical content often catered to the general interest of nerds). But a while back I was talking with one of my roommates, and he suggested that I begin writing nerdy raps, much like the aforementioned emcees. I’ve thought about it long enough, I think I’d like to start, however the only problem is that my rapping skills are a tad rusty. I’ll be sure to keep Nerd Central as well as the rest of Tumblr updated on my progress. But in the meantime I am going to continue studying Physics. Cheers!
